Work directly with clients, product owners, architects, and development teams to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into infrastructure and cloud architecture requirements.
Analyze existing infrastructure and application architectures to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement.
Design scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-efficient multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Assess the impact of new requirements and architectural changes on infrastructure, capacity, scalability, performance, security, operational complexity, cost, engineering effort, project scope, and timelines.
Translate architectural requirements into technical initiatives, epics, backlog items, estimates, and dependencies, and contribute to project planning and technical roadmaps.
Evaluate architectural alternatives and technologies, document trade-offs, and make recommendations aligned with business priorities and project constraints.
Lead architecture workshops and technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders, clearly communicating decisions, risks, assumptions, and constraints.
Define architecture principles, reusable patterns, standards, and non-functional requirements covering availability, scalability, performance, security, observability, disaster recovery, and maintainability.
Design and establish Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and other appropriate tools.
Design CI/CD, container, and Kubernetes architectures across multiple environments and cloud providers.
Define cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, IAM, security, secrets management, monitoring, logging, and observability strategies.
Design high-availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions based on business and operational requirements.
Assess infrastructure capacity and identify opportunities for modernization, automation, performance improvement, and cloud cost optimization.
Conduct architecture reviews and ensure implemented solutions remain aligned with agreed architecture and requirements.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform, and Development teams and act as a technical escalation point for complex issues.
Define migration and modernization strategies for workloads moving between on-premises and cloud environments or between cloud providers.
Ensure compliance with corporate security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Significant practical experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture, with proven architectural or technical leadership experience.
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code and extensive Terraform experience, including reusable modules and IaC standards.
Experience designing high-availability, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and resilience strategies.
Strong Kubernetes and container experience, ideally including EKS, AKS, and GKE.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, security, IAM, secrets management, encryption, and DevSecOps.
Experience designing CI/CD architectures using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, or similar tools.
Strong Linux/UNIX and Windows knowledge, including practical troubleshooting experience.
Strong scripting/programming skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell, Go, or similar languages.
Experience with capacity planning, resource forecasting, cloud cost optimization, and balancing technical solutions against project constraints.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex architecture decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and act as an escalation point for complex architectural and infrastructure issues.
Advanced proficiency in spoken English is mandatory.
