This May, the annual Spring event brought together our big international family for a long-awaited celebration — full of learning, laughter, hugs, music, dancing, and unforgettable memories. For many of us, this is more than just a picnic — it’s a tradition where colleagues become friends, friends bring family, and the whole NIX universe shines a little brighter ❤️
🌵 IN SEARCH OF EL DORADO
The spirit of the golden city awakens 🌞
This year in Budapest, the NIX tribe followed ancient whispers through the jungle — chasing myths, gold, and glory on the path to El Dorado. The air pulsed with the rhythm of the drums, the scent of fire-roasted feasts, and the magic of a lost world reborn for one day.
But before we set foot on the sacred path to El Dorado, our team gathered for a different kind of journey — one of learning, insight, and shared vision beneath stormy skies.

Wisdom before the gold, rain before the fire 🪶
At first, the Learning & Development Center summoned NIXs to a ceremony of knowledge under the open sky — the first-ever NIX Open Air Edu Event. The heavens opened. The rain poured. But it could not wash away the spark in our eyes. It only made it brighter 😎
🧠 Guides of wisdom led the way:
- Tetiana Fedorova showed us The Key to a Client’s Heart — a ritual of confidence, connection, and first impressions that matter like the first mark on a stone tablet.
- Sergii Kandybei and Ri Dolidze unlocked the secrets of Retro Antiheroes — how to tame the spirits of discord in teams and bring harmony where there once was tension.
The storm was strong, but so were we! We shared bread, ideas, and laughter. We looked through the rain — and saw clarity 😇
At NIX, we already work hard and party hard. Learning & Development Center is now striving to add a third “hard” to this combination: study hard. The May Event proved to be a fantastic platform for this initiative. Combining education with entertainment makes learning more accessible and engaging, encouraging more people to get involved in personal and professional development. NIX OpenAir Edu was just the first step in this direction. It was quite successful, and it has the potential to become a truly positive and impactful new tradition for us.
This was more than a warm-up. It was a rite of passage — a reminder that before any great expedition, there must first be learning. And before every celebration, a moment of reflection! And who knows? Maybe this brand-new format just sparked the next great NIX tradition ✨
🔥 The journey has begun!
🌿 Picture this: enchanted quests carved into maps of old, sacred brews stronger than jaguar’s roar, and a treasure hunt woven with mystery and legend. Only the boldest found their prize — exclusive treasures worthy of the Golden City itself.
I really enjoyed the overall vibe and the El Dorado theme! The little challenges for extra drinks or tattoos were such a fun touch. The music was great too. 🎶 If there’s a drum session next time, count me in — already planning to join! 🪘😉
Then the rhythm took over…
The incredible La Movida band lit up the evening with Latin sounds, and before we knew it, the dance floor was alive with bachata and salsa moves. It was a spontaneous, magical moment no one expected — and no one will forget 💃
The theme was cool — I especially loved the statue and the photo zones with all the fun accessories to feel like a real hombre 🪇. The food was amazing — I tried almost everything, and the tacos were absolutely next level 🤯😋
The overall vibe was just right — it felt great to hang out and reconnect with everyone 🤝
All in all, the event was spot on. Thanks for the opportunity to be part of it 🙌
As the sun dipped, the party kept going.
🎧 DJ Marcin Wadek A.K.A Wondeck, a groove master from NIX, kicked off the evening. It was brave to intercept a crowd so hyped up and lead them on!
🎤 And for those who wanted to glow? There was karaoke — and oh, how it delivered! A stage full of soulful (yes-yes!) singers, unforgettable performances, and roaring applause.
Even after the official program ended, many NIXs carried the celebration into the city — strolling along the Danube, discovering live music, and simply enjoying the afterglow of an incredible day. It wasn’t easy to say goodbye to that kind of atmosphere — and honestly, many didn’t 🥰
