About the Project
- We are looking for an Account Lead to step into a mature, highly active account with an established delivery team already running on our side. In this role, you will take full responsibility for nurturing executive relationships and driving business growth with one of our key enterprise clients operating in the Digital Learning or Logistics SaaS domains. In this role, you will serve as the “account executive” and the key navigator for our partnership. You won’t just manage the relationship – you will truly own it. You will read the trends of client needs, plot the lines of account growth, and align new opportunities with our delivery capabilities to ensure each project brings real business value. Focusing on account profitability, sustainable growth, and upsales, you will form your own leadership team, guide presales from ideas to signed agreements, and set up the framework for a smooth transition into delivery.
Own the Account & Commercial Strategy: Drive long-term account vision, map out growth plans, and maintain a healthy, transparent pipeline of new opportunities.
Build Executive-Level Trust: Establish strong relationships across the client’s leadership teams and business units, acting as a trusted partner and the “voice of value”.
Orchestrate Pre-sales & Upsales: Identify new business needs early, assemble presales squads (Architects, Delivery Managers, Tech Leads), and drive opportunities from initial discovery and PoC phases through to signed agreements.
Manage Financial Health: Monitor account P&L and margins, ensuring that projects remain profitable and contracts are executed seamlessly.
Lead the Account Leadership Team: Build and align your cross-functional team (Delivery Managers, Tech Leads, PMs), acting as a mentor and ensuring everyone speaks with the client in one unified voice.
Shape the Communication Flows: Guide high-level dialogue with client executives, focusing on business outcomes, innovation, and clear feedback loops.
Define Success Criteria: Set clear guidelines and expectations before launching new project streams to keep a healthy balance between business growth and team well-being.
Shape the Account’s Internal Identity: Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and shared success across all teams working within the account – ensuring it’s a place where people are engaged, aligned, and proud to contribute.
At least 4 years of experience in client-facing or commercial roles within the software development / IT services industry, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity (e.g., Account Lead, Delivery Manager, or Senior Project Manager) managing client accounts.
Proven track record of managing multi-stream projects, running business reviews (QBRs), and building relationships with various corporate stakeholders.
Strong commercial awareness: understanding of engagement models (T&M, Fixed-Price, Managed Services) and basic financial literacy (monitoring utilization, margins, and account health).
Contract management: Practical experience managing commercial agreements and contracts throughout their lifecycle, from initial drafting to final signing.
Technical literacy: A solid understanding of the SDLC, Agile frameworks, and modern digital trends (like AI/Cloud). You have the contextual tech fluency to comfortably talk with clients, spark their interest, and bring in the right technical experts to design the solution.
Strong negotiation & communication skills: Ability to deliver consultative value, handle client objections, and speak about technology through the lens of business value.
Fluent English (both written and spoken) with confident communication skills.
Strategic mindset: An open, analytical mind with the ability to solve structured problems and make decisions under pressure.
