Senior ServiceNow Developer
Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable ServiceNow solutions.
Design and develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations using various ServiceNow features and tools (Glide, UI Actions, Business Rules, etc.).
Implement best practices for code reusability, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and IT operations to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new solutions.
Document work effectively and maintain thorough knowledge of existing system configurations.
Contribute to and mentor junior developers, promoting a collaborative and learning environment.
What we expect from you
- ServiceNow Platform: Expertise in core modules like ITSM, CSM, HR Service Delivery, and knowledge of emerging modules like Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- Scripting Languages: GlideScript, JavaScript, Jelly, with understanding of scripting best practices and code reusability.
- APIs and Integrations: Experience with REST APIs, web services, and ServiceNow Integration Hub for seamless external system integrations.
- Version Control Systems: Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for collaborative development and code management.
- Full-Stack Development: Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React) for building custom ServiceNow UI elements.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms for hosting and managing ServiceNow instances.
- DevOps Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles for automated deployments and infrastructure management.
- Security and Compliance: Understanding of ServiceNow security best practices and relevant compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
Advanced knowledge of Linux OS.Reporting and Analytics: Knowledge of ServiceNow reporting tools and data analysis techniques for generating insights and optimizing platform usage.
ITIL/ITSM Frameworks: Understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles for aligning ServiceNow solutions with industry best practices.
