Do you know what happens when 19 teams and cheering fans gather in one place with a thirst to explore the world? We didn’t know either, until we gathered at Láng Művelődési Központ on March 27. Some have called this meeting legendary! But like all travelers, we invite you to make up your own mind. Buckle up, we’re going in!
With a buzzing atmosphere, hilarious hosts, and globe-spanning trivia, it was part brain workout, part comedy show — and all good vibes. Thanks to a revamped quiz format (hello, smartphones, goodbye paper waste), and solo or team sign-up, anyone could join in and shine 🤩

🥇 Chiki-Briki — a team of solo players who met on the spot and walked away as champions — proving great things happen when new people connect.
“It was interesting to play with a team formed of solo players and to find common ground quickly. The most important thing was to be open, to get to know everyone quickly, and to share your ideas during the game. And, of course, to trust each other’s knowledge!
I liked that the questions and tasks were varied – they were very fun to solve! I finally got to use all those random facts I’ve had in my head for a long time.”
🥈 Cseresznye Csoport 🍒 — the funnest squad ever! The team, armed with pálinka, homemade Piana Vyshnia, and a thirst for victory — they were so close. But maybe the next shot 🥂
“I am super amazed by second place, and to be honest it feels like a win, as we had way too much fun with the team. We are proud of the result.”
“In the beginning, in the first round we did not take the competition so seriously, just tried to answer right. After this, we saw that we were in fourth place, so we ramped up, and locked in, and through the rounds, we managed to advance by two places. It was a very long and drawn-out fight, but we enjoyed it.
Regarding the theme, I found it very interesting. Geography is one of my favorite topics. I hope next time we can get one about History, or Space, I am fond of both.”
“Questions that still linger in my mind? Me knowing a Taylor Swift album’s name is still looming over my head. How did this happen? 👀But maybe it was needed for the win and I gladly helped my team with my knowledge. And we also learned some things. Now we know that we should never mix up Goran Bregović and Boban Marković, or the Coffin Dance guys are from Ghana.”
“I’m glad we’ll have more quizzes this year, I’m definitely participating. I hope we stay together as a team, and next time we’ll take all the glory (and prizes 😉)!”
🥉 Ba Prod, our bronze warriors, weren’t afraid to flex their brains and challenge the status quo. These folks came to play, and play they did!
“The quiz was pretty nice. I especially liked the geography and history part. However, the music and culture section sometimes focused too much on current trends. 😅 The application we used was working mostly well. The hosts were doing a good job keeping the players engaged and adding some trivia about the questions.
A memorable part was the announcement of the results. It was a very nice feeling to end up on the stage and get some gift for our achievement.”
