The recent Quiz Night was an event straight out of the books, filled with enchantment, camaraderie, and a touch of mischief 🪄. Its very first gathering, dedicated to the Harry Potter Universe, brought together the greatest wizards and witches. You might ask, why? Well, to test the knowledge they had had during their years at Hogwarts, of course!
It All Started with Setting the Atmosphere
From the moment the doors opened, it was clear this wasn’t just any trivia event. The Quiz Master, a true Potterhead and a natural entertainer, set the mood with his lively energy. With his charm and quick wit, he kept the crowd excited and engaged throughout the entire evening.

“The belief in magic has always been with me since I was a kid. My sister and I would often read Harry Potter books together, rewatch the films… So, organizing an event like this has always been my dream 🤞. I’m new at NIX, so I admit I was a bit nervous since it was my first outside-office event here. But! After the first round of cheers and laughter, everything fell into place. It was truly an incredible experience.”
As the teams took their seats, enchanting treats and drinks appeared on the tables. So, after a few goblets of Butterbeer and some discussed news from Diagon Alley, the most exciting part began…
The Competition Worthy of the Triwizard Cup
Teams gathered around their parchment, excitedly scribbling answers to questions that went deep into the Harry Potter books and movies 📚. From identifying the main ingredient in Polyjuice Potion to naming the ghost of Slytherin House, the quiz tested even the most knowledgeable Potterheads!
The NIXs’ love for the HP Universe was clear not just in how passionately they discussed each question, but also in the names they came up with for their teams.

“Our team won the prize for the most creative name! We had a few options to choose from: ‘The House Elf Liberation Front’ and ‘Mischief Managed,’ but in the end, ‘Why So Sirius?’ was the funniest. Some of the other teams stood out because they shared the same idea – making other Potterheads laugh 😆. Though ‘Neville Wears Prada’ was my ultimate favorite, here are a few others that made us laugh: ‘Voldemort’s Nose,’ ‘It’s Leviosa,’ and ‘Dobby and the Socks.’”

It was a tight battle, but there were 3 teams who secured the top spots with their impressive knowledge. They answered the most questions correctly and won some amazing prizes for their efforts.

“Personally, my secret to victory in this game was my powerful team. True Potterheads! Attila is basically a walking Hogwarts encyclopedia — I’ve never met a bigger HP fan, seriously! But whenever he couldn’t recall a fact from the books or movies, Oleksandr and Valerii would instantly pick up the slack, and together, we easily found all the right answers.
When I heard us being announced as the winners… hmm, it felt like winning the Triwizard Cup. It was even more joyful being the winners of the very first Quiz Night. Our names will go down in history! Well, at least in our memories 😅”
As the Game Came to an End…
Everyone stuck around to chat, laugh, and share their favorite moments of the evening. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with a feeling of connection that went beyond the competition. For many, the post-quiz hangout was just as unforgettable as the quiz itself.
