On December 12th, we launched the Learning & Development Space at the NIX office 🎉. Wondering how it went and why this event is so important? Keep reading!
The Learning & Development Space is…
The focal point for NIX education — the scene of future workshops, lectures, courses, hackathons, and more. Created by the Learning & Development Center (LDC), it’s designed to nurture future talent and sharpen our team’s soft and hard skills. From public speaking and small talk tricks to programming and business analysis, the LDC has hosted countless training sessions to support growth in every direction.
We are always focused on advancing the IT community, and the new study hub offers the perfect environment to learn and grow. It’s a major step forward in our approach to education. It plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our industry and creating the next generation of innovators. The possibilities are endless, and we’re just getting started!
The LDC space is purpose-built to:

Our goal is to showcase what the Learning & Development Center stands for and what we can offer to our colleagues and students. This will help them understand the impact we’re ready to make for them.
We’ve recognized a genuine need for this and received strong support from the entire team. I can’t even begin to describe how many people were involved in bringing our idea to life: the LDC team, the PR team, the Office Managers, the Local Admins… almost every NIX department! Everyone was so open, offering help and sharing ideas. We’re incredibly grateful for that ❤️
The Learning Hub of the NIX Team
For NIXs, the Learning & Development Space has become a place to bring fresh ideas to and turn them into educational materials in a more efficient way 🎓. Get the support and resources it needs to succeed. It’s where guys can come together, share their knowledge and experience, or discuss the latest trends in their field.
The Solid Foundation for Future IT Experts
Since the LDC is the first department that potential NIX students encounter, setting the tone for their entire experience with the company is very important. With this in mind, the LDC has focused on making learning not only useful and engaging but also as comfortable as possible.
The new space is dedicated to giving our students a chance to experience different aspects of NIX life, beyond just information from their mentors 🙌. For instance, the transparent walls allow students to observe real-time processes, while the lobby provides a space to network and connect with each other.
In 2024, hundreds of students gained practical knowledge from our experts, and more are choosing to learn with us every day. Now, they’ll be able to do so in even more spacious, modern, and cozy classrooms!
The Grand Opening
On the morning of December 12th, the opening ceremony of the Learning & Development Space kicked off with the cutting of the red ribbon ✂️. The atmosphere was full of excitement as guests started arriving. We tried counting, but it quickly became tricky… The crowd just kept growing!
Cutting the ribbon was my favorite moment of the event. It was the highlight most people came for, and you could tell they really enjoyed it 🥰
Shortly after its opening, the LDC space offered an opportunity to experience exactly what it was created for — an atmosphere of workshops, knowledge exchange, and growth.
While planning the event, we wanted more than just a ceremony with speeches. We wanted to reflect the vibrant energy of the new space through workshops. This was a perfect way to showcase the possibilities of this place and inspire people to make the most of it.
After the official ceremony, the workshops took center stage, offering participants a chance to learn, connect, and have fun.
I really enjoyed the ‘Scrum Master’ workshop. We had to build something with LEGO together, but only a few participants received instructions on how to do it. It was great to see a simplified version of how communication and information can sometimes get distorted 🤪
I took something from all the workshops, fun facts, or knowledge bites. For example, at ‘Meals That Seal the Deal,’ we received a cheat sheet with super useful expressions and sentences that can help us navigate client dinners and uncomfortable topics. But they can also come in handy in general communication.
The event was amazing, starting with the very beginning! It was especially valuable to gain unexpected insights from other departments and apply them on practice right away ⚙️. We discussed, brainstormed, shared ideas — it truly felt like a creative laboratory 🧪✨. And that’s exactly the point of the new space. I believe many fantastic things will happen here!
Some participants didn’t just join the workshops — they also shared their skills as speakers, which made the event even more inspiring!
Being a speaker at such an important event is an absolute pleasure! I love sharing my expertise with people who are genuinely excited about learning something new. So seeing all those curious, eager eyes in the crowd was truly rewarding. The sheer number of questions and the level of interest from participants were the best proof that we hit the mark. It also reminded me just how much energy and passion fuel our amazing community 🙌
Besides the workshops, guys could also try their hand at five interactive stations. These activities allowed NIXs to dive deeper into the learning processes, explore different areas of the LDC, and gain a better understanding of its operations. Those who completed all of these were entered into a raffle to win exclusive LDC merch ⭐️
During the raffle, everyone was genuinely curious about everything around them. Each winner’s name was anticipated with held-in breaths and met with bursts of loud applause. That’s how it went — and it was absolutely awesome 🔥
