NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Azure Cloud Architect in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
  • Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies
  • Providing technical guidance and support to developers and other IT professionals
  • Reviewing and optimizing Azure solutions to fit Azure Well Architected framework and best practices
  • Designing and providing corporate cloud standards
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest Azure technologies and best practices

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Experience with Cloud: Azure Account management, VM’s, Web Functions, Web Apps, Azure Networking, MSSQL, Azure DevOps, Blob, Disk, Storage account, other Azure services
  • Experience interacting with DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, TeamCity
  • Operational systems: Understanding of Linux OS management principles, applications setup/configuration, processes, management, troubleshooting
  • Understanding of web apps deployment principles
  • Databases: understanding of database administration
  • Understanding of networking principles
  • Understanding Azure Network Security Concepts
  • Knowledge of scripting languages: PowerShell
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience design, prove and implement architecture solutions
  • Knowledge of Azure Well Architected Framework and best practices
  • Experience mentor DevOps team members
  • Knowledge of English at the Upper-Intermediate level
  • Great communication skills

WILL BE A PLUS:

  • Deep knowledge of Networking and Cloud Security
  • Hands-on Solution Architect experience
  • Hands-on experience as a .NET developer
  • Dvanced knowledge of Operational systems
  • AWS or GCP
  • Experience working with other CI/CD tools
  • Orchestration and containerization with Docker and k8s
  • Experience with Microservices deployment and release management
