You’ll collaborate with a leading global provider of educational resources, offering a range of products such as textbooks, online courses, assessments, and professional development tools. Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and relevant testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
Implement and maintain modular, scalable, and reusable automated testing components.
Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective test plans.
Contribute to the development of an overall testing strategy, including the decision of which test cases are suitable for automation.
Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of test automation code.
Suggest improvements and adhere to coding standards.
Actively contribute to process improvements within the QA team.
Develop and execute performance tests using tools like JMeter or Gatling to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
What we expect from you
At least 1 years commercial experience as QA automation engineer using Java and industry-standard testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
Experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) testing.
Strong understanding of Agile methodology and software development principles.
Experience in developing end-to-end UI and\or API tests.
Experience in working with bug-tracking and test management systems.
Experience with Git.
Usage experience with CI\CD tools (e.g. Jenkins).
English skills at the upper-intermediate or higher level.
Will be a great plus
Performance testing experience (Gatling/Jmeter).
Advanced skills in Jenkins or similar CI tools.
Experience with Playwright for browser automation.
