NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Automation and provisioning of cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem infrastructures
  • Develop and support CI/CD using a variety of tools
  • CI/CD automation and scripting
  • Maintain a team solving infrastructure and configuration problems
  • Handling infrastructure or automation issues in different environments
  • Following corporate security and regulation rules and practices

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Experience in administering of Linux/UNIX and Windows systems (must be practical, at least two years)
  • Experience with web servers and application deployments and support
  • Experience with cloud environment provisioning in AWS or Azure clouds (manually or using Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates )
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hand-on experience in database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL or MSSQL)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools
  • Scripting experience using languages like Bash/Shell, PowerShell
  • Knowledge of English at the intermediate level is required

WILL BE A PLUS:

  • Deep knowledge of Linux OS
  • Ansible automation experience
  • Knowledge of Python is desirable
  • Practical experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines for building, deployment, and testing the code
  • Experience with microservices deployment and release management
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving problems in different environments
